Beverly H. Hill, age 90, native of Los Angeles, California, and longtime resident of Sequim, passed away at her home surrounded by family Thursday, January 4, 2018. She was born September of 1927 to Helen Rhodes and Robert Stone. Beverly met Sidney W. Hill in 1948 after his return from war. She would spend 70 years holding his hand through their lives together. Throughout Beverly's lifetime, she passionately walked the path enjoying her craft of sewing, the fine arts, researching ancestry, preserving nature, traveling and feeding her thirst for knowledge of all things, all while savoring a beautiful glass of wine. She was an active member of The Mayflower Society and Daughters of The American Revolution (DAR). Beverly was a loving daughter, loyal and dedicated mother, a true confidant, a teacher, and has left a mark on many hearts.
Beverly Hill is lovingly remembered by her husband, Sidney Hill; her daughters, Sharlyn Tompkins (James) of Bellevue and Leslie Lardie (Thomas) of Sammamish. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sasha Lardie of Sammamish; Troy Tompkins (Sarah) and Megan Tompkins of Bellevue; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Avery Tompkins; and all that will remember her rich personality.
Beverly was predeceased by her grandchild, Aaron Tompkins, age 34, of Bellevue.
The memorial service will be held at Sequim View Cemetery on Saturday, January 27 at 11 a.m. The family invites all who were touched by Beverly to join at the cemetery in her remembrance.
