Lewis Wesley Kastner died November 1, 2017, of natural causes at 92.
He was born to Henry Leonard Kastner and Lena Alma Smith on April 20, 1925, in Jamestown, North Dakota.
He was a 2nd Lieutenant Navigator in the Army Air-Corp during WWII.
He obtained his bachelor's degree from the University of Washington in 1951.
On April 11, 1953, in Portland, Oregon, Wes married Roberta Jean Colby.
The couple moved to Washington, D.C., where Wes worked as an auditor for the CIA for 20 years before moving back to the Olympic Peninsula in 1975 where he worked as a CPA until 2016.
Wes enjoyed fishing, traveling, playing cards, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of the Sequim Masonic Lodge and the Sequim Prairie Grange.
Wes leaves behind his loving wife, Roberta Kastner of Sequim; his sons, Mark (Cathy) Kastner of Parkland and Robert (Nenita) Kastner of Lake Tapps; his daughter, Toni (James) Cornish of Port Orchard; his three grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Wes was preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Kastner; his brother, Helmer Kastner; his father and his mother.
There will be a memorial service for Wes at the Sequim Masonic Temple on November 18, 2017, at 11 a.m.
